Dutch, Downer and Diamonds...The facts as I see them:
A) Dutch tried to play Bad Ass at Savage's party by telling everybody he wasn't sure if he would be at Balbach's wedding, as his girlfriend also had a wedding to attend and she wanted Dutch to attend with her.
B) Dutch does not really have a girlfriend, and therefore was planning on going to Balbach's wedding with Downer all along but wanted to get a rise out of her.
C) Downer called Dutch's bluff and ditched him for Diamonds.
D) Dutch, now dateless, will have to dip into his pool of "usual suspects" for a date.
